In a very interesting moment when Telangana Governor E S L Narasimhan, who is common for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states, has been facing the allegations of being partisan towards Telangana and its chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
While Telangana Congress leaders accused Narasimhan of surrendering to KCR and his family members, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders from Andhra Pradesh have been demanding a new Governor for their state as Narasimhan was totally partial towards Telangana. There have been allegations that KCR pampers Narasimhan with gifts regularly.
On Saturday, Narasimhan once again proved how much affinity he has towards KCR and his family. He visited Kaleshwaram project to take stock of progress of works.
He did aerial survey of the project and visited various barrages, besides examining underground pump house, surge pool and tunnel. He expressed awe at the magnitude of works.
After his visit, Narasimhan spoke to media, showering huge praises on KCR.
Describing the chief minister as task master, the Governor said: “He is a real Bhagiratha. Hereafter, I must call him Kaleshwaram Chandrasekhar Rao, instead of Kalwakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao. And Harish Rao will be called Kaleshwar Rao,” he said. #KhabarLive
