In a move towards agitation, students staged dharna and made complete classes boycott against the uncertain and unplanned fee hike by Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad.

According to university student union president Attaullah Niazi the protest and classes boycott will ontinue till the demands are met as the imposed fee structure is not suitable for underprevilaged and economically backward students. Mostly, the students depends upon their own earnings and unable to cater the higher fees.

Secretary of the students union Nehal Ahmad states that the burden of fees is not bearable and the government should provide the solution to these unplanned fees hike or should address the options for quality education not to make the academic institutions as revenue sources.
