Though none knows who took the pains of morphing the images of some currency notes, they do look quite genuine, but looks are always deceptive.
Don’t be surprised if you get to see a message on WhatsApp or on your timeline in facebook about the “imminent” launch of a Rs 350 note by the Reserve Bank of India. We can confirm that it is not so and the messages are false and also that the images of the new crispy notes are morphed.
Though none knows who took the pains of morphing the images of some currency notes, they do look quite genuine, but looks are always deceptive. Aint’ they? All these notes are fake….?
Post demonetisation last year, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had released notes of new denominations – Rs. 200 & Rs. 2,000 – apart from changing the design of the already existing Rs. 20, Rs. 50 and Rs. 500 denominations.
Even as the brand new notes started coming into use, a photograph of the lates, Rs. 350 note has been doing the rounds on the internet.
While the other notes are familiar to most of us, the Rs. 350 note sure is making us scratch our heads. However, Reserve Bank of India has not made any statements related to the photographs doing rounds on the web.
But for now, here is another instance of questions being raised over the genuineness of news on the social media. #KhabarLive
