Vivo, the smartphone brand has launched a new device, the Vivo Z1 Pro in the Indian market that could give tough competition to the likes of Xiaomi and Samsung. The reason for this is that the phone has been packed with some impressive hardware and features but starts at just Rs 14,990.

The Vivo Z1 Pro sports a 6.53-inch full HD+ LCD display that offers almost 91%+ screen to body ratio. Vivo has chosen the octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712SoC as the processor for this phone. Built on the 10nm technology, this chipset can clock a speed of 2.3GHz. The RAM support to the processor is offered in two variants, 4GB and 6GB with further choices for internal storage at 64GB and 128GB. The Android Pie will be the operating system with the Funtouch OS 9.0 UI running on top as the skin. Aiding these will be a massive 5,000mAh battery that comes with an 18W fast charging support.

As if these were not impressive enough, you have a triple camera setup in the rear with a 16MP primary sensor, 8MP 120° wide-angle shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera, lodged inside a punch hole in the display is equally large at 32MP. There’s a night mode provision to click pictures in low light conditions as well.

There is a fingerprint sensor in the rear panel and the usual communications options and onboard sensors.

As mentioned, with all these specifications, the Vivo Z1 Pro comes with a price tag that won’t pinch your pocket. At the lower end, the Vivo Z1 Pro smartphone with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is being offered at Rs 14,990, while the 6GB variant with 64GB storage can be bought for Rs 16,990. The third option with a combination of 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be sold at Rs 17,990.
