NEET 2020 was conducted in September 2020, keeping in mind strict Coronavirus regulations in various cities of the country. The dates for NEET 2021 exam will be released in the last week of January 2021. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the application process and conduct the various events of the NEET exam 2021 as soon as the notification is released.

● The NTA provided facilities in the regions of Leh, Ladakh and Kargil for the people who did not have any access to internet connection.
● It is also expected to happen this year, for which you are required to go and collect the forms from a nodal office.
● There might be a change in the NEET 2021 syllabus due to reduction in the CBSE syllabus by 30%.
● You need to pay an application fee online to finalize their application. For students opting online mode, students can pay using Debit Card, Credit Card, or net banking.

NEET 2021 Exam Timeline
No dates have been announced officially by NTA, but the following data is based on the exam dates of previous years.

Eligibility criteria to appear NEET 2021
● Students wishing to enroll in NEET 2021 must have passed 10+2 exams or any equivalent exam from a recognized board.
● Mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
● You must have passed with at least 50% of the marks. For students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category, the minimum mark is 40%, while persons with disabilities require 45%.
● NRI students and foreign nationals must secure 50% marks and also study the above mentioned subjects. The subjects should be recognized by AIU as per MCI regulations.

NEET 2021 Exam Pattern
The NEET 2021 exam will be held offline, but there are provisions being made to give an option to write it online too, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper will not be only in English, but in a lot of languages for the ease of students.

● The languages available are English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Telugu, Urdu and Kannada.
● The NEET 2021 exam pattern will include objective type questions, and the duration will be 3 hours. The total number of questions will be 180 questions. The total marks that a student can score is 720.
● For every correct answer +4 is awarded.
● For every wrong answer, one mark is deducted.
● There are also different sections in this exam. These sections are split into Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

NEET 2021 Syllabus
The syllabus for NEET is usually given by the Medical Council of India (MCI). This year, the education minister has called for the National Testing Agency (NTA), to make sure the syllabus is reduced as CBSE has reduced their portions by 30%.
But based on the previous data, the tentative syllabus is as follows. You can use their CBSE material of standard 11 and standard 12 (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) to start their preparation for NEET. The syllabus is as follows :

Physics: Laws of Motion, Electromagnetic Waves, Electrostatic, Behavior of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Electronic Devices, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Properties of Bulk Matter, etc.

Chemistry: Basic concept of chemistry, Hydrogen, Equilibrium, Alcohols, Electro Chemistry, P-Block Elements, Surface Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Phenols and Ethers, etc.

Biology: Some basic topics will be Human Physiology, Reproduction, Plant Physiology, Cell Structure and Function, Ecology & Environment, Diversity in Living World, Biology and Human Welfare, etc.
