It is quite evident and looks like the stage is set for the arrest of senior TRS leader and former minister Eatala Rajender, who was sacked from the state cabinet, anytime in connection with the allegations of largescale encroachment of assigned lands and endowment lands.

According to the party sources, the TRS government has quickly gathered all the material in a span of two days that would prove conclusive evidence against Eatala and closed all the routes for him to escape.

“There are strict instructions from the top bosses that the cases of land encroachments be entrusted to the Crime Investigation Department along with all the evidences so that a case can be registered against him by Monday evening or Tuesday morning,” sources said.

Once the case is booked, the CID will take Eatala into custody for questioning and later arrest him formally.

“There is no way Eatala could seek an anticipatory bail, as the cops have gathered all the evidences to oppose the same,” sources said.

Apparently, KCR doesn’t want to give any time for Eatala to work out his strategies to gain some political mileage from his sacking from the cabinet.

He knows that Eatala enjoys a lot of sympathy not only among the people of Huzurabad assembly constituency, but also among the party cadres in the area.

So, before he could mobilise any support in his favour, the TRS chief has decided to act quickly. He is also learnt to have prepared a battery of Backward Classes leaders to launch a counter-attack in the event of Eatala playing a BC card.

He has also ensured that no TRS leader in Huzurabad or Karimnagar would raise his head against the party if action is taken against Rajender.

Since all the financial roots of Rajender are clipped, he might not get the expected support to his fight against the party leadership, say sources. #KhabarLive #hydnews
