Aadhar Card by UIDAI is one of the most important documents in today’s time. Aadhar card is needed for bank related work, admission in school and other government schemes including income tax, PF and medical etc. If you do not have this document, then it is obvious that you will not be able to take advantage of many government schemes. Along with government, this document is also very useful in private work. Now UIDAI has eased the rules for making Aadhaar card of children i.e. child Aadhaar. According to the UIDAI, now parents can apply for a child’s Aadhaar card along with their documents by taking the birth certificate of the child or the slip of discharge from the hospital.

These documents will be needed

Please note that biometric information is not mandatory for children below 5 years of age. For Child Aadhar Application Passport, PAN Card, Driving License, Ration Card or Public Distribution System Photo Card, Voter ID, Arms License, Photo ID Proof issued by Government of India, Photo ID Proof issued by a Recognized Educational Institution, PSU Service Photo ID Card, NREGA Employment Card, Photo Credit Card, Pensioner’s Photo Card, Freedom Fighter’s Photo Card, Farmer’s Photo Pass Book, CGHS Photo Card, Marriage Certificate, Legally Accepted Name Change Certificate, ECHS Photo Card, Identity Certificate issued by Gazetted Officer or Tehsildar with photograph of the applicant on a proper letterhead, Disability Medical Certificate issued by State Government, Union Territory Government or Administration or a Disability Identity Card is required.

Documents for Address Proof

For verification of address proof, bank passbook, bank statement, post office account statement, guardian’s passport, voter ID card, post office account statement or passbook, driving license, ration card, service photo ID card with address issued by PSU, 3 Month Old Electricity Bill, Water Bill Older Than 3 Months, Telephone Landline Bill, Home Tax Receipt, Credit Card Statement, Insurance Policy, Photograph with Address Signed by Bank on Letter Head and a Letter, Company Letterhead issued by Office Signed letter with address and photo, NREGA employment card, arms license, pension card, freedom fighter card, Kisan passbook, CGHS card, ECHS card, assessment order of income tax department, vehicle registration certificate, rent agreement, by postal department Photo and address card, caste and domicile certificate with photo issued by the state government, 3 months old gas connection bill, passport of guardian can be used.

Follow this procedure to make a hair base:

  • – To get the child Aadhaar, first you have to go to the official website of UIDAI.
  • – Here you have to select the Aadhar card registration option.
  • – Now you have to enter the required information, which includes the name of the child and other biometric information.
  • – After that you have to enter the information of home address area, state etc and submit.
  • – Now you have to click on the appointment option to schedule registration for Aadhar card.
