Asia’s biggest lift irrigation project Kaleshwaram now struck on sheer controversy and named as a biggest engineering flaw, slapping a blow on Telangana government and mastermind KCR. This is the biggest blow to the KCR government in the recent times by BJP rulers.
Recently, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the Kaleshwaram Project was constructed as per a faulty design. Declaring that the project has an engineering flaw he said that due to lack of planning the Kaleshwaram Project got bogged down and added that the three dams connected to the Kaleshwaram Project had got submerged. The underground pump house also got submerged.
“The media asked me why Prime Minister Modi did not give national project status to the Kaleshwaram project as Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been asking why the Centre did not give national project status to it,” he said and added that the Kaleshwaram Project had no investment and environmental clearances. Shekhawat said the project had no clearances of any kind.
The Kaleshwaram Project has become like an ATM for KCR to extract money and he converted the Kaleshwaram Project into a milch cow. Moreover, the KCR government has been blaming the Centre to hide his government’s mistakes. “How is it possible KCR… to give national project status to an illegal project? We would have been blamed. KCR has to take the responsibility for the mistakes that took place in executing the project,” he said.
Shekhawat said that KCR had executed the Kaleshwaram Project only for the sake of commissions. He demanded that KCR, who has been asking the Centre why it had failed to give national project status to the Kaleshwaram Project, should answer about the corruption that took place in the project.
He urged the people of Telangana to give power to the BJP to send the corrupt to jail. “We will chase the corrupt government of Telangana away,” he said. He said that corruption was taking place in Telangana at every level.
He made it clear that there is a need to remove the KCR government to pay tributes to the youth who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Telangana. He said that the BJP will come to power under the leadership of Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Participating as the chief guest at a public meeting held at Vangapally near Yadagirigutta on the occasion of Sanjay’s third phase Praja Sangrama Yatra’s launch, Shekhawat started his speech in Telugu saying that he was happy to have darshan of Yadadri Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy.
Shekhawat said that having darshan of Yadadri Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy is unforgettable. He said that the people of Telangana have been hoping for change and that a BJP government will come to power under the leadership of Sanjay. He said that KCR does not like the poor, depressed castes.
He said the BJP had played a key role in the formation of Telangana. The people of Telangana used to call former Union Minister, the late Sushma Swaraj, as ‘Chinnamma,’ he added.
However, only one family has been developing in the State. The day is near for KCR’s family rule to end. He said that KCR had extended his support to corrupt and family based parties during the presidential election.
The Union Minister said that the Congress which ruled the nation for generations did not care about the people. However, the BJP got the credit of making a Dalit, Ramnath Kovind, and a tribal woman, Droupadi Murmu, as Presidents.
He said that KCR did not keep his word to make a Dalit the Chief Minister. KCR’s rule is aimed at protecting his family’s interests, he said and added that KCR has been supporting corrupt politicians. #KhabarLive #hydnews
