The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Tuesday came out with a partial manifesto making some fresh promises, besides assuring that all the pending works and projects that were taken up in the last four years would be completed in the right earnest.
After a marathon meeting of the TRS election manifesto committee meeting held at Telangana Bhavan, TRS president and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that if his party returns to power for the second time, he would provide Rs 3,016 per month to every unemployed youth towards unemployment allowance, till they get the employment.
He also announced increase of financial assistance being given under Rythu Bandhu scheme to farmers from Rs 8,000 per acre at present to Rs 10,000 per acre every year.
Another major promise made in the manifesto is to waive crop loans to the extent of Rs 1 lakh to each of 45.50 lakh farmers.
Similarly, all the old people below poverty line who crossed 57 years would be given Aasara pensions, which would be enhanced from Rs 1,000 per month to Rs 2,016. The disabled would also be given enhancement in the pension from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,016.
The other promises include: creation of a market intervention fund of Rs 2,000 crore to ensure remunerative prices for farmers, payment of honorary monthly remuneration to Rythu Seva Samithis, construction of another 2.76 lakh double bedroom houses, special schemes for SCs and STs, interim relief for all the government employees, welfare corporations for the poor among the upper castes and special schemes for their uplift. #KhabarLive
