Due to technical glitches EVMs giving troubles at several polling stations in Greater Hyderabad Constituencies. In Nacharam Erra kunta 187 polling station, Koti Women’s College booth number 83, at Moosarambagh 233 polling station EVM’s gave troubles due to which polling started lately.

At Gandipet Hydershahkote, Vikarabad Ganded Mandal Vennached polling stopped due to no current supply.

At Medchal district Shamirpet mandal Toomkunta also EVMs giving troubles.At Vanasthalipuram Kamala nagar booth number 241 polling delayed due to technical glitches in EVMs.

At Amberpet Sri chaitanya school and at Himayathnagar Saint Paul’s school polling delayed due to technical glitches in EVMs.

Due to the delay in polling voters wete becoming restive and long queues were seeing at the polling stations. They were waiting from hours to cast their votes.

Most of the voters were complaining that the EVMs placed at the less light area. Due to which the senior citizens, women were facing problems in identifying the symbols and the candidates whom they wanted to vote.

In many places of Greater Hyderabad many voters lost their votes. Even after having the voter card and their names in political parties against lists they did not find their names in the list of Presiding officers due to which they were unable to exercise their franchise .

In old city Bahadurpura area at many polling stations voters did not find their names in the list due to which they protested infront of the polling stations.

Voting percentage across Telangana improved by 11 am with officials announcing that 23.4 per cent voting was reported in the first four hours.

Telangana CEO Rajat Kumar said total of 19 control units, 22 ballot units and 42 VVPATs have been replaced so far after they were found defective. The election authority had decided to reduce lighting in the polling compartments as the VVPATs has sensors which could be affected if there was more lighting.
