Raheja Corp, one of India’s leading real estate conglomerates is proud to announce a respectable Gold rating certification for Building 12 A in their commercial business park Mindspace at Madhapur in Hyderabad, from the esteemed U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
Building 12 A at Mindspace – Madhapur was recognized for its sustainable practices and solutions and earned 69 points. These practices included shuttle services and electric charging stations for e-vehicles, preferred parking spaces for carpool vehicles, rainwater management, high solar reflective index roof and 100% covered parking, high performance glazing, renewable energy generation through on-site solar PV panels, reuse and recycling of waste water, use of Low VOC paints, adhesives and sealants, and outdoor air provision as per ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) standards.
K Raheja Corp is ahead of the curve with its green practices at the Mindspace Business Park in Madhapur, Hyderabad. They endeavor to educate the occupants and visitors about the green features implemented in the project through awareness sessions and tours of the site. They also have energy and water meters installed to map consumption and ensure optimum utilization and savings, for better planning and usage. Sustainability efforts have resulted in building 12 A recording water savings of 63.4% and energy savings of 18.6%.
Spread across 110 acres with 21% landscape cover and 3500 trees planted across the campus, Mindspace Business Park at Madhapur supports the Green Building movement in India. Mindspace Madhapur is the first Commercial Business Park in Hyderabad to also be certified with an IGBC Gold rating, earlier this year. The campus comprises of 21 commercial buildings spread across 10 mn sq.ft built up area, with over 80,000 occupants.
