The BJP is coming up with ever newer ways to put its rivals on the mat. It is now planning to pit ABVP’s most popular Muslim face Sayeeda Shahazadi Begum against MIM’s Akbaruddin Owaisi. She will be fielded as the BJP nominee from Chandrayangutta.
Shahajadi Begum is a post-graduate in politics from Osmania University. He has been very active in the ABVP and has recently talked about the problems of the Old City in an interview to #KhabarLive. She demanded that the MIM explain what it has done for the Old city. She said one should be a nationalist and should not use religion for political purposes.
What more she said Triple Talaq was not a part of Quran and dared MIM for an open debateon the issue. She charged the MIM with remaining silent even when Arab Sheikhs are taking away minor girls in the name of Nikah.
Shahzadi is already going round the streets and is meeting people in the Chandrayangutta area. She is trying to drum up support for the BJP. She said women are opposing Akbaruddin Owaisi and expressed the hope that she would win the elections hands down. If she manages to win the election, that would be the biggest upset of this election.
