TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu firmly believes that victory of opposition alliance in Telangana elections is essential for him win the elections in Andhra Pradesh. As the positive outcome in TS will boost will provide a boost his and party’s image in the state, he is leaving no stone unturned to get the Praja Kutami elected.

TDP leaders have been think TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao will certainly support YSRCP, BJP and Jana Sena in AP in 2019 if TRS wins in there. To prevent Giving high priority to TS elections, the TDP chief has set aside all the regular business in the state, including general administration. In fact, he postponed the scheduled Cabinet meeting on December 3 to participate in electioneering.

He has been investing all his energies to see that the People’s Front form government in that state in which TDP, Congress, Telangana Jana Samithi and CPI are parties.

TDP senior leader and housing minister Kalava Srinivasulu said that the Praja Kutami (People’s Front) will come to power and it would surely have positive impact on the party in the Assembly elections too.

He said Telangana people would vote the opposition front to power because of the anti-people policies of K Chandrashekar rao. Another TDP leader said that since settlers from Andhra Pradesh became key in Telangana elections, they would surely impact the same in this state too.

BJP AP president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that there was no scope for People’s Front to form the government in TS. At the same time, he maintained that if it wins, then the TDP would have a little bit advantage and Chandrababu Naidu would raise his voice more strongly in AP too.

Fearing adverse impact of TS poll outcome on AP prospects, YSRCP and Jana Sena have not contested in the Telangana elections, said a senior politician in YSRCP. He explained that it was a well-known fact that both YSRCP and Jana Sena have no stakes in Telangana. At this juncture, if they contest and got defeated, then that would have negative impact here in AP, hence they did not contest, he said.

On the other hand, the TDP dared to contest in 13 Assembly constituencies. If the Praja Kutami wins in the polls, then it will have a political dividend in AP, he observed. #KhabarLive
